transplantation expenditure to the transplant patients

medicines provided in 2017-2018 to the more then 600 post operative
transplant patients.

IKD is a pioneer institution of introducing transplant
technology in the KP. We developed the program in 2008 as a response to
the dire and growing need of patients that could not afford the life saving
treatment.
According to statistics it is
estimated that some 25,000 persons go to renal failure stage every year in the
country. Out of which only 10 percent succeed in receiving dialysis and only
2.3 percent have good fortune to receive transplantation
