ACHIEVEMENTS AND PROFESSIONAL AWARDS

• Supervision of video Urodynamic sessions.
• Flexible Cystoscopy/day case procedure lists.
• Conducted daily ward round to supervise the management of in-patients.
• Three out patient’s clinic a week, where I saw both new referrals and follow up patients.
• Two independent theatre list a week, where apart from day cases endoscopic work I performed operations like ligation of varicocele, excision of epididymal cystic, hydrocele, prostate biopsies, circumcision and transurethral surgeries.
• Attend three main theatre lists a week where I assisted the consultant in major operations and also got sufficient chance to operate independently. I performed most endoscopic procedures independently, like Optical Urethrotomy, TURP, TURBT, URS (flexible& rigid),endopyelotomy and endoburst etc. I had good experience in performing open procedures like nephrectomies, nephro-ureterolithotomy, ureteric re-implantation, and open bladder, prostate and genital surgery.
• Taught and monitored the junior doctors in day to day management and took them to flexible Cystoscopy and Urodynamic sessions.
• Undertook clinical research work. Organize and attend uro-pathology and uro-radiology meetings.
