VISIT OF UNHCR AND UNOPS FOR INSTALLATION OF CTSCAN.

On 16-April-2024 representatives from the UNHCR and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) visited Institute of Kidney diseases to assess the feasibility of installing a CT-Scan machine. The delegation meet with the Director and Deputy Director of Administration (DD Admin) of IKD and in the meeting they discussed the potential benefits and challenges of the project, expressing enthusiasm for improving healthcare services. Following a thorough assessment of the designated space within IKD, found to be suitable, the delegation appreciated IKD's work and resilience in providing quality care and the commendable efforts of its staff. They confirmed the installation of the latest model CT-Scan machine, highlighting the commitment to support healthcare infrastructure development in the region. This productive visit signifies a significant step forward in enhancing healthcare services and improving access to medical diagnostics for the community, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration between IKD, UNHCR, and UNOPS for the successful implementation and sustainability of the project.
